Hello, my quilting friends!

I have a fun FPP freebie to share today, but first, a quick update from my corner of the world. In late October, I fractured my ankle—a trimalleolar fracture. According to my surgeon, it’s a real doozy! Long story short, I’m off my feet until January, with a long road of recovery ahead as I work toward my new normal. In the meantime, I’ve been resting, keeping my ankle elevated, and doing plenty of hand sewing to stay creatively busy.

This week, I decided to tinker on my laptop to keep my mind active, and I came across a small FPP pattern I designed a while ago, inspired by none other than Mrs. Roper from Three’s Company! Have you noticed the renewed love for Mrs. Roper lately? There’s even an event called the "Roper Romps," where people dress up in Mrs. Roper-inspired kaftans and spend the day as a group—usually hopping from pub to pub (though probably not stopping at the Regal Beagle!). It’s a groovy celebration of her iconic fashion, and if one happens near you, I highly recommend checking it out. The sight of all those fabulous kaftans in one place is pure joy!

Back to the FPP pattern—I designed a simple fan block that I was thrilled to use my vintage scraps for. I managed to sew a few blocks, but unfortunately, I can’t find the pictures now. With my ankle, navigating the stairs to search for them is quite the adventure—it’s like a backward push-up workout! The block finishes at 8" x 9" inches, and is printed without a seam allowance around the outside edges, that needs to be left on when you are sewing it at the standard quarter inch. I like to use the add a quarter ruler when doing fpp, and it helps me to add that quarter inch of seam allowance around the outside of each pattern piece.

On the bright side, this has sparked more ideas for a larger quilt inspiredby Helen's caftans. I’m working on additional blocks inspired by the show and plan to release a full quilt pattern this summer, probably for free as well, under fan art. For now, though, I’m excited to share this free FPP block with you!

I hope you enjoy making it, and I’d love to see your color choices. Happy sewing, friends! Scroll down for the download spot!

Using technology to increase access to youth mental health support may offer a practical way for young people to reach guidance, safe-spaces, and early help without feeling overwhelmed by traditional systems. Digital platforms, helplines, and apps could give them a chance to seek support privately, connect with trained listeners-orexplore resources that might ease their emotional load. This gentle shift toward tech-based support may encourage youth to open-up at their own pace, especially when in-person help feels too heavy to approach.

There is always a chance that these tools-quietly make support feel closer than before, creating moments where help appears just a tap away. Even a small digital interaction might bring a sense of comfort. And somewhere in that space, you…

Detailed and practical, this guide explains concrete rebar in a way that feels approachable without oversimplifying. The step by step clarity is especially useful for readers new to the subject. I recently came across a construction related explanation on https://hurenberlin.com that offered a similar level of clarity, and this article fits right in with that quality. Great شيخ روحاني resource. explanation feels practical for everyday rauhane users. I checked recommended tools on https://www.eljnoub.com

This is fantastic! As a fellow fan, I love seeing this vibrant and fun pattern—it’s pure Mrs. Roper energy. It really shows how the right flooring can completely transform a space with personality. Speaking of transformations, for anyone inspired to bring some bold flair into their own home, a great local flooring store near me like ORA would be the perfect place to find unique materials and get expert advice on making a statement. Thanks for the dose of nostalgia and style!

If you're looking to keep your sneakers in top shape, a sneaker cleaning kit is essential. I’ve been using a suede sneaker cleaning kit for my suede shoes, and it works wonders. The right sneaker cleaner kit can make a huge difference, especially when you have white sneakers that get dirty easily. For the best sneaker cleaning kit, you should check out the options available online. I also recommend using a white sneaker cleaning kit to keep your kicks looking fresh. Definitely worth investing in a best sneaker cleaner kit for long-term care

The Defy Lab was announced as a very limited series of what were essentially concept watches link and only 10 were produced, but this year, Zenith's announced the Zenith Defy Inventor, which will be produced, says the brand, in the hundreds link – still a very small number relatively speaking, but one which obviously reflects the fact that the oscillator can in fact be successfully industrialized. The Defy Inventor's link version of the oscillator shows some interesting updates to the original design, as well.
